World University Service of the Mediterranean (WUSMED) was founded as Association in Girona (Catalonia, Spain) in 2010, with the aim of promoting higher education and intercultural dialogue as a key factor for social and economic progress, especially to Mediterranean societies.
We are actively promoting the creation of a better life, education and work conditions focusing on the Mediterranean Basin but not excluding any territory. We strongly believe that the international collaboration is the basis for innovative ideas in the areas of education, training, social inclusion and territorial development as well as vital for the sustainable economic development in Europe and worldwide. People are at the center of sustainable development and in this regard, we commit to promote sustained and inclusive economic growth, social development and environmental protection and thereby to benefit all.
