A French company that has existed since 1972 specializes in the injection and extrusion of plastics for many application sectors such as automotive, medical, agrofood, construction, etc. Since the start of the covid-19 health crisis, the company with 230 employees has diversified in particular to meet new needs for the medical sector to supply the European market in particular.

Thus, the company started the production of single-use white aprons (previously imported from China instead) and invested in new machines to produce to date more than 1 million aprons per week. This apron is entirely made in France, offers a real alternative to the supply problems suffered at the start of this health crisis on this type of disposable personal protection.

The aprons are also available in blue colour and intended to equip operators of the agrofood industries which redouble their protection during the Covid-19 crisis to respect the hygiene instructions.

The French company is now able to manufacture large quantities of aprons in white or blue colour. They are made in single-layer polyethylene (PET) so they are 100% recyclable. They have 25µm thickness and 1150mm length. They can be delivered in pallets containing 18200 units and are already sold in France.

The French company is now looking for trade intermediary services (agents, distributors) abroad in order to develop this new activity. Distribution services agreements or commercial agency agreements are sought with commercial partners worldwide.

Compared to existing products coming from Asia notably, it is interesting to note that these aprons are: -existing in two differentiated colours: white for medical applications and blue dedicated to agrofood sector. -easy to put on thanks to hole for the head passage and plastic band to tie it behind the back. -made in a single-layer polyethylene and so they are 100% recyclable. -manufactured in mass production in France and so it is easy for supplying all Europe and beyond, rapidly and in large quantity.
