The selection of the open call proposals will be carried out in a four-step process.

Step four will involve the I-NERGY selection committee to choose the best proposals based on the external evaluation results and the objectives of the I-NERGY project. For further information see the Guide of Applicants section 4.

I-NERGY is an EU funded innovation project around Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Next Generation Energy aiming at reshaping the energy sector value chain towards better business and operational performance, increased environmental sustainability and the creation of a stronger social fabric propagating high social value among citizens.

The I-NERGY Consortium consists of 17 partners, coordinated by the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) of the National Technical University of Athens.

In this Open Call, I-NERGY will select 10 bottom-up projects for the Technology Transfer Programme I, who will receive up to €50 000 for the execution of the project and take part in a 6 months support programme.

The scope of the programme is:

Building blocks and applications for new AI algorithms/services and small-scale experiments (prototypes) using own resources (modules, models and components) in order to address the developments and implementation of technology and systems applicable to specific cross-sectorial Challenges within the Energy sector for the purpose of enriching the AI resources and tools catalogue for Energy on Europe’s AI-on-demand platform AI4EU.
