Created in February 2018 in the South-West of France, the company develops from microalgae, new and innovative products and extracts for professionals in the food, nutraceutical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries to meet consumers' expectations for natural and sustainable solutions that improve their quality of life. The two main products marketed by the company are: • Phycocyanin in liquid form, also known as blue spirulina, extracted from the company's spirulina, titrated in C-phycocyanin from 2 to 20 g/l. For use in the field of health as an ultra-concentrated antioxidant active ingredient of spirulina, or for use as a natural colouring of food and drinks. Different concentrations can be worked up according to requirements. • 8 kg buckets of spirulina powder. Liquid forms can also be processed as required. Spirulina is a blue-green spiral-shaped micro-alga. It has been discovered in lakes in various equatorial regions of the world such as India, Chad and Mexico. Spirulina is a cyanobacterium belonging to the genus Arthrospira. Often, two genus names are found for this alga. These are : Spirulina and Arthrospira. The two most common species are Spirulina (Arthrospira) maxima and Spirulina (Arthrospira) platensis. Phycocyanin and spirulina are a rich source of antioxidants that help protect the body from the consequences of oxidative stress. They also help to improve tonus and vitality, promote the body's vitality, and make you feel more energetic. Spirulina also helps to support the immune system and phycocyanin is a powerful natural defence stimulant. The company is looking for European manufacturers or distributors to integrate phycocyanin and/or spirulina as ingredients in their products or to sell them as is, under their own brand or under the company's brand.
