Description

The goal of BlockStart Open Call #3 is to engage blockchain/DLT developers to develop or adapt their solutions to the needs of fintech, ICT and retail sectors, and have SMEs operating in those sectors to adopt the solutions developed to help them grow their business.

The Open Call #3 for blockchain/DLT developers has already closed and at least 10 have been selected to go to the PROTOTYPE stage of BlockStart’s 3rd Acceleration Programme, where they will be developing or adapting solutions for the target sectors. After that, at least 5 will go on to the PILOT stage, where their blockchain-based solutions will be matched with at least 20 pioneering SMEs, willing to test and implement them in their daily business. The PILOT stage will last for 2 months, between December 2021 and February 2022.

BlockStart will facilitate the relationship and development of a mutually beneficial agreement between blockchain/DLT developers and end-user SMEs.

Submissions for SMEs willing to participate in the Pilot stage of BlockStart’s 3rd Acceleration Programme are available via https://www.f6s.com/blockstart-opencall3-smeadopters/apply.

BlockStart aims to provide competitive and market-oriented European SMEs access to knowledge, technology, capital, and markets with the aim to place new products/services in the market targeting blockchain technology. One of its main goals is to engage end-user SMEs willing to adopt the blockchain technology developed in the scope of the programme, to help them grow their businesses.

For end-user SMEs, they will receive equity-free funding of up to €3 000 for their participation at the Pilot stage, as well as the opportunity to validate, pilot and implement a blockchain-based solution to help them grow their business, adapted to their needs.
